HISTORY OF BANANAS ENTERTAINMENT
Entertainment agents Lance Shellman and Randy Bowles formed Bananas Entertainment in 2002. Both saw the need for a high quality, customer service oriented organization that represented Wisconsin’s best live bands. Within 3 years, the agency grew to be the largest live entertainment agency in the state, reaping not only a killer roster of acts, but recognition from The Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) as a leader in the field. In 2010 Ryan Vander Sanden joined our ever-growing team as a partner.
Today, we have offices in Green Bay, Appleton and Greenville. While we may have grown, our philosophy hasn’t changed: great entertainment at the right price – always! We’re often asked where we got our name. Good question! We always thought live entertainment should be fun – and it is! We wanted our name to say that right out of the gate. It’s also a highly respective nod to one of our all-time favorite acts – The Beatles. They started Apple - we started Bananas.
