His musical tastes moved towards classic rock in his teens, to include The Animals, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, The Moody Blues, Bob Seger, The Allman Bros. and The Marshall Tucker Band. Forrest credits his success in the music world to his wide variety of musical influences.

In High School, Forrest auditioned for, and earned the position of Lead Drummer for his high school jazz band. In keeping with his passion for music, Forrest continued to play in Country and Classic Rock bands for several years after high school.

Forrest has other interests as well including hunting and fishing, and a short career in rodeo as a Bareback Bronc Rider, and a Bull Rider. To this day, he and his wife Lisa still have horses on their ranch in Northern Wisconsin.

Forrest married the love of his life 20 yrs ago, and together raised four sons. Forrest and Lisa share a special bond in their relationship working side by side with each other since their relationship began. Lisa also sings back up vocals in their current band and continues her passion for hunting, fishing, and Barrel Racing. Forrest has had the opportunity to open for many main stream country artists all over the country, and is now touring and headlining acts both as a solo artist as well as with his band.
